Avocado Chocolate Mousse

Rich and creamy, this chocolate mousse gets its smooth texture from avocado, making it both decadent and nutritious. If you're anything like us and you LOVE a sweet treat but sometimes get bored of the same thing then you have to try this ultimate chocolate recipe. 

                                         

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

                                           

Instructions:

  1. In a food processor or blender, combine the avocados, cocoa powder, honey, almond milk, vanilla extract, and salt.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  5. Garnish with fresh berries, nuts, or a dollop of whipped cream if desired.
